During the recently held conference for the introduction of new products for 2008, Skyworth Group Co., Ltd. introduced its refrigerator products for the first time. The company’s spokesman said that Skyworth will now adopt the OEM mode to manufacture refrigerators, and that the reason behind its decision to enter this field is the rapid growth on the rural refrigerator market in the past two years. Chinese manufacturers are increasingly diversifying their operations, with Skyworth entering first the washing machine industry and the refrigerator field now, and various Chinese color television manufacturers, such as TCL, Changhong and Konka, already taking their first industry in refrigerator manufacturing.
