(June 12)--China United Telecommunications Corporation Limited (600050) started today sorting out its CDMA network assets since China Telecom and China Unicom signed a framework agreement on June 2nd that stipulates that China Telecom’s listed company will pay RMB43.8bn for China Unicom’s CDMA business and another RMB66.2bn for its CDMA network assets. Sources at China Unicom disclosed that the final transaction value for the company’s CDMA business will depend on the actual value of the assets based on the 2008 semiannual financial report.
