(June 26)--The China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry recently announced that China is now capable of manufacturing various types of key dredging and electrical equipment and that the national localization rate of dredging equipment has exceeded 90%. Domestically-manufactured dredging equipment has been installed on domestic dredgers, particularly on 12,000cbm/h, 13,500cbm/h and 16,888cbm/h large-sized trail suction dredgers, on 3,500cbm/h cutter suction dredgers, on chain-bucket and dipper dredgers.
